JERRY WALLPE

Jerry Wallpe is a grimdark fantasy author from the middle of Texas. Raised as a navy brat, but formerly a wrench-turner in the Air Force, he writes about the things that scare him most, which often times isn’t the long, empty, dreadful hallway, the slithering monster under the bed or the scream in the black of night, but the people we encounter, the choices they make, and the effect they have on the living. Inspired by authors such as Joe Abercrombie, Brandon Sanderson, and Stephen King, he writes of people and places, balancing the brutal truth about reality with the unsettling, the unspoken, or the unforgivable. When not writing, Jerry can be found with his wife, The High School Sweetheart, his two boys, The Minion and The Maniac, and probably smoking tasty barbecue, playing guitar too loudly, or parenting patiently—well, as patiently as can be, that is. 

A.R. Smith

A.R. Smith is a debut fantasy novelist and lifelong outdoorsman from Oregon, where the towering forests and rugged coastlines have long fueled his imagination. When he isn’t writing you can find him searching for a new trail or chasing the same sense of adventure and wonder that infuses the world of the Starlight and Spells serie. A.R. Smith lives in Millersburg with his wife and their four children, who remain his biggest supporters (and toughest critics).
